Last year, homegrown photographer Jessica.lkw snapped TNC’s Global Photo Contest “People & Nature” Award with this stunning capture of the Tai Mo Shan. She shares her inspiration behind this photo:
“This fantastical sea of clouds usually occurs in mountains 800m above sea level (Tai Mo Shan is at 957m) during winters and springs in Hong Kong. I had previously made multiple trips to Tai Mo Shan in hopes of witnessing a beautiful sea of cloud scenery before finally got this one. This goes to show that there is world-class nature scenery in this bustling city and you can find it if you take the time to explore deep enough.”

香港攝影師李嘉蔚憑藉這張大帽山雲海美照，一舉奪得TNC2017全球攝影比賽「人類與大自然」組別大獎。一起聽聽她嘅拍攝心得：「這如仙境般的雲海現象一般在春冬兩季喺超過800米的山峰上出現（而大帽山為957米）。我登頂大帽山數次才拍攝到這張照片。其實雖然香港係鬧市，但是只要我哋肯探索，一樣能見到這般大自然美景。」
